Do re mi fa so la ti do...

So, I'm stealing this video from Harmony. Please watch it--you need your speakers on-- before you scroll down for the rest of the post (Don't worry, it's completely uplifting and family friendly. Even your toddlers will like it. I promise.)

So, did it make you cry? When Harmony posted it on her blog, everyone (including me) commented that it made them cry. Happy tears, I think, but tears nonetheless. It's not really a video that you would think would invoke such an emotional response, but it does. Harmony's mom had a pretty great theory as to why, but I want to hear what you have to say first.

  1. Very cool. This was from a commercial, wasn't it?

  2. No tears, but Really cool. Have you seen the ones where they just freeze in a public place for a while and then all at once they awaken and leave like it's no big deal?? Cool stuff. They did one here in Hungary.

There were about 5times as many 'performers' as audience members though.

  10. Anon.,

You're kidding, right? You can't be serious. I don't believe that #1 you acutally believe the crap you're spouting. #2 you hate this blog as much as you pretend to.

If you actually thought it was as sinful and wicked as you claim, why would you return? Isn't that just as bad? You obviously have read the content of this blog as well as the comments in order to form an opinion. Why damage your 'perfect' soul then? Isn't that just as bad as watching porn just to 'know' what you shouldn't be watching?

If it's that offensive to you, then just STAY AWAY!!

  11. I admit it! I cried like a baby when I saw this (and about ten times afterwards)

This IS a commerical too--I'm baffled as to what it's advertising--the Julie Andrews fan club? It's still pretty stinking cool.

Is Cheyenne trying to start his own fight on this website? Hilarious!

    Brandi, consider us fighting. Thief.

    ;-) <--- for Sarah

  13. Brandi, now you're insulting my non-read blog?? Watch this Cheyenne--we're about to FIGHT!!

In case it's not obvious, I'm totally kidding! Should I put another smilely face on here??

  14. Cheyenne, Shame on you. :)

I will emoticon because they are some of my favorite things. And when I see them, I don't feel so bad.

I too am in the JAFC - Julie Andrews Fan Club.

And Harmony, how do you use underlining on your blog posts and italics in the comments. You blog wizard, you.

  15. Sorry...just woke up. But last night at midnight, delirious on 3 hours of sleep over the last couple of days I thought I was HILARIOUS!

It took everything I had not to argue with myself for several more posts.

Now if we could only figure out the REAL Anonymous. I caught Crystal going all Veronica Mars yesterday trying to figure it out.

Someone is channeling Shepherd Book from Firefly...

Funnily enough, I was actually WATCHING the Sound of Music when I came to visit Brandi's blog, only to see this. Hilarious.

  17. Vivian-
The person channeling Shepherd Book is the daddy of the baby who's getting the Firefly onesies I showed you.

  18. Completely cried! Hiccuped and sobbed and everything. Oh, how we need that kind of joy! I don't know how odd I am, but my greatest dream would be to just be walking in the park or train depot or other busy place and have a real-life musical moment like this.

Thank you, thank you for sharing the happiness.

BTW, you have some crazy commenters!(:
