This better be a practical joke.

So, I was browsing the local paper a minute ago and saw that our county doesn't go back to school until Tuesday. Tuesday. That's not Monday. That's a full 24 hours after Monday.

I hoped against hope that the paper had screwed up--I mean it is written by a bunch of rednecks, after all. But no. The school calendar confirmed it. They will be home on Monday. All. Day. Long.

Eighteen consecutive days of them at home.

That extra day may just push me over the edge.

This may be the scene at my house by Monday night.
